Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and provide support during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on exercises and therapies to support recovery
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
- Ensure adherence to safety and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of patient care practices and safety standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in outpatient or rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with therapy equipment and treatment protocols
