Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, including a specialized stroke and neuro patient population
• Manage and monitor telemetry, including remote monitoring, and respond to changes in patient cardiac status
• Perform and manage vascular access including peripheral lines, central lines, PICC lines, port access, and IV starts, as well as blood product administration
• Provide feeding tube care and management, wound care, wound vac management, and isolation precaution protocols
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 within an inpatient unit setting
• Float between multiple facility campuses as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Telemetry experience with remote monitoring required
• Experience with feeding tube care and management, central line care, PICC line management, port access, blood product administration, and peripheral line care required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• On-unit telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Experience caring for CVA and stroke/neuro patient populations preferred
• Familiarity with nasal cannula oxygen delivery and isolation precaution protocols
