Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythms, recognizing abnormal patterns
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
• Comply with all hospital and regulatory requirements, including certifications and licensing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Hold a valid Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform safe medication administration
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (score requirements apply)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine test (if applicable)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within the Cleveland Clinic Health System or similar large hospital environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple patient priorities efficiently
