Registered Nurse Operating Room

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) / PACU
Location: Calais, ME
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and patient-family centered care during the perioperative period.
• Scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed.
• Communicate effectively with perioperative team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and standards.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Certification in Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (may obtain within 6 months of hire).
