Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit as part of a float pool
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level as needed, including a nearby affiliated facility
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:3–4
• Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring as core clinical duties
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using an electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated IV start and telemetry (TELE) skills
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with Ohio credentialing and fingerprinting processes
