Registered Nurse Operating Room

Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment.
• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical procedures, including neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, and robotics.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to ensure efficient case flow.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, documentation, and supplies.
• Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with certification standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid NC or Compact registered nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in an acute care setting.
• Extensive scrub and circulate experience in neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics.
• BCLS certification.
• Must have recent travel nursing experience (preferred but not required if screened).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Recent experience in at least two of the specified surgical specialties.
• Ability to work flexible 12-hour days in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
