Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) setting within a high-volume, regional referral hospital
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, including telemetry monitoring and timely intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately in alignment with unit protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
- Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Ability to meet travel nursing requirements and work onsite for the duration of the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
- Experience working in a large, acute care or regional referral hospital setting
