- Days, Full-time, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including implantation of devices such as pacemakers and ICDs.
- Demonstrate competency in hemodynamic monitoring, arterial/venous sheath management, and aseptic techniques.
- Support a safe and efficient workflow during complex procedures like thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, and structural heart interventions.
- Recognize and manage complications such as air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis, and cardiac tamponade.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification and state licensure in radiography (KY).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 2-3 years of recent cath lab experience in a busy environment.
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel healthcare experience.
- Hands-on experience with coronary angiography, stent placements, Impella, IABP, laser therapy, lithotripsy, OCT, IVUS, IFR/FFR, thrombectomy, and temporary pacemakers.
- Familiarity with multiple cath lab documentation and imaging systems.
