Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Conduct one-on-one patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress assessments at a 1:1 ratio
- Participate in weekend rotation shared with full-time therapy staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist state license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience
- Must be a first-time traveler or have completed at least 1 year of experience as required
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
- Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and scheduling flexibility
