Registered Nurse – Endoscopy / GI (Scrub)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite | No weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist intra-operatively with a full range of GI procedures performed under general anesthesia, MAC, and moderate sedation
• Perform scrub duties during GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, GI bleed management, EUS, and ERCP
• Maintain working knowledge of GI equipment and accessories used during procedures
• Provide care across Endoscopy, PACU, and inpatient settings as required, including Pediatric Endoscopy
• Handle and process specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Float to designated areas as needed within the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent California RN license in hand at time of submission — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Minimum 3 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
• Scrub experience required
• Experience in Pediatric Endoscopy, PACU, and inpatient settings required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Valid LA Fire Card required
• Two supervisory references (supervisor level or above; no Charge RN) from within the past year required at time of submission
• All license and background hits must be fully closed — open or pending hits will result in automatic redirect
