Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU float pool capacity, rotating across ICU and other units as needed
• Float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, and Overflow PACU units based on census and staffing needs
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring PA line management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across multiple unit types
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements including weekend rotations; no scheduling requests can be accommodated

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent California RN License in hand at time of submission (no pending or temporary licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• PA Line experience required
• Experience in a large hospital (400 beds or larger)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• 2 supervisor-level references (or higher) from within the past year required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple unit types including Telemetry, PCU, and Stepdown
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large, high-acuity facility
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt to varying patient care environments
