Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Weekends required to meet staffing needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum nursing care for patients following vaginal or cesarean delivery, including tubal ligation and circumcision
• Support GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery patients
• Administer blood and blood products, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate; manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
• Circulate and scrub for cesarean sections; attend all deliveries and assist with low-risk labor and delivery cases
• Operate CPAP/BiPAP equipment and cooling/warming blankets; obtain 12-lead EKGs
• Float to NICU or L&D as needed to meet unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby / Postpartum nursing experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Ability to scrub and circulate cesarean sections and attend all deliveries
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in low-risk antepartum, LDRP, or transition nursery settings
• Familiarity with post-op care and OB-GYN surgical procedures
• Comfort floating between Mother Baby, NICU, and L&D units
