Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Document hours worked and maintain compliance with facility timekeeping systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (no pending expirations)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (no pending expirations)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience completed within a single location
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in facility onboarding and compliance processes
