Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiopharmaceutical preparation and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging studies
  • Perform camera quality control and NRC-required daily and weekly QC procedures
  • Prepare patients for cardiac exams and perform EKG monitoring
  • Receive, document, and manage incoming radioactive shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Float to other units or departments based on competency and licensure as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Active State of Hawaii nuclear medicine technologist license required by start of assignment
  • Minimum of 3 years of nuclear medicine technology experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience operating Siemens Dual Headed ECAM with ESOFT Processing
  • Familiarity with GE MAC 5000, CAPTUS 3000, and NMIS systems
