Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clinic flow for patients and providers throughout the day
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures within a clinic setting
• Manage patient phone calls and communications under the direction of the provider
• Perform nursing duties within the full scope of the professional license

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current RN license in the state of Iowa
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification (new employees must certify within three months of hire date)
• Strong nursing process skills and patient service orientation
• Ability to think, converse, and type simultaneously with excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic PC skills and comfort with Windows operating systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting
• Ability to set priorities and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
