Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting on night shift
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Rotate holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday as required
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no pending expirations)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Room specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
• No open background case findings or license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• 18 months of Emergency Room experience obtained within a single location
