Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Evanston, IL
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (12 Weeks) | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting with a focus on cardiac and neurological patients
- Float to other units including Emergency Department, ICU, and UCU to care for medical-surgical patients as needed
- Deliver care across multiple facility locations as required by assignment
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements, including 8 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
- Participate in holiday rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with Cardiac and Neurological patient populations
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated strong critical care clinical skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Passed EKG test on file
