Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:30–08:00) | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital setting
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet patient care demands
- Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Valid, active RN state license required at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
- Ability to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
- 2 supervisor references required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with electronic charting platforms such as Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, or Kronos
- Experience working in a teaching hospital or high-acuity clinical environment
