Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
• Lead and participate in state and/or federal nursing home survey processes, including authoring and executing plans of correction
• Direct the management, monitoring, and auditing of the electronic medical record (EMR) system, including staff training, documentation standards, and reporting
• Ensure comprehensive nursing assessments are completed for all residents upon admission and on an ongoing basis, with individualized care plans formulated and evaluated for effectiveness
• Uphold resident rights, safety, and dignity by ensuring freedom from neglect or abuse and facilitating timely physician notifications and family communications
• Participate in QA/CQI processes, care conferences, and interdisciplinary task forces to promote continuous quality improvement

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (North Dakota)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and familiarity with therapeutic effects and side effects of administered medications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Experience with EMR systems, scheduling platforms, and regulatory survey processes
