Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, with potential to float to progressive care and emergency department areas for the same patient population
• Perform continuous ECG rhythm recognition and monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and competency standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Rotate holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday as required
• Complete required orientation assessments, annual modules, and competency evaluations per facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience accepted
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum two attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single facility location preferred, though combined experience across locations is accepted
