Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a 24-bay PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Perform Phase II recovery support as part of floating responsibilities
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
- Minimum 1 year of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Phase II post-anesthesia recovery
- Familiarity with on-call and weekend rotation scheduling in a surgical setting
