Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 36 Hours/Week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for cardiac patients including those with Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization diagnoses
• Interpret dysrhythmias and perform remote cardiac monitoring
• Manage cardiac drips including Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, and Dopamine, with titration as required
• Perform sheath pulls, TR Band application, and Femstop procedures
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and port access; administer blood products
• Float to other units as needed, with potential to float every shift; participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry AND PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown experience required
• Demonstrated ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform remote monitoring
• Experience with Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and sheath removal
• Proficiency with cardiac drip titration (Diltiazem, Amiodarone), central line and PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Active ACLS certification; NC or Compact RN license required; must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification
