Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an outpatient oncology setting
- Collaborate with on-site physicians to support patient infusion needs
- Monitor and assess patients throughout the infusion process, responding to any adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to oncology nursing standards and safe chemotherapy handling protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Administration certification required
- Acute care medical-surgical oncology experience required
- Significant chemotherapy administration experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior outpatient oncology nursing experience strongly preferred
