Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and ventilator weaning protocols
- Administer and monitor continuous IV drip medications
- Provide care for patients requiring Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
- Deliver post-cardiac catheterization monitoring and care
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama State RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post-cardiac cath care
- References required at time of submission
- Copy of certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR system
