Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout assigned shifts
- Participate in on-call assignments as determined by unit need
- Fulfill one on-call weekend per month as required
- Float to other units or affiliate facilities based on skill set and organizational need
- Complete required orientation modules and annual training as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or perioperative environment
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and related equipment
- Flexibility to float between multiple facility locations within the region
