Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Tuesday Start | 4 Weekend Shifts per Month Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with 10 LDR beds and 2 OB?? rooms, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 (1:1 for high-risk patients)
- Perform and assist with procedures including Cesarean sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies in an OR circulator capacity
- Continuously monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
- Float to postpartum or medical floor as needed (medical floor float in a tech capacity only)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including bedside RNs, scrub techs, and unit secretaries
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Active ACLS certification
- Active NRP certification
- Active BLS certification
- OR Circulator experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bilingual communication skills
- Scrub tech skills
- C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
