Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Weekends Required (once per month, Saturday 0600–Monday 0600)
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a CVOR RN in a short-term acute care, teaching hospital environment
- Perform scrub and circulator roles within the cardiovascular operating room
- Respond to cardiac emergencies as part of on-call responsibilities
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and adhere to unit standards of care
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float to other units or affiliate facilities as needed based on skill set and census demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations, including response to cardiac emergencies
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during the assignment
- Willingness to float to affiliate facilities within the region as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR setting
- Experience in both scrub and circulator roles within cardiovascular surgery
- Familiarity with short-term acute care and teaching hospital environments
