Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 8-Week Assignment | Days | 4 Days per Week, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | 32 Hours Guaranteed per Week | May float to other ambulatory surgery center locations in the Kansas City area to meet agreed hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties in a multi-OR ambulatory surgery center environment
• Support a range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, total joints, urogynecology, ENT, podiatry, colorectal, and neurosurgery
• Operate and assist with specialty equipment including Stryker arthroscopy and video systems, Stryker power tools, Jackson Spine Table, Guardian Table, HANA Table, Medtronic Stealth, microscope, THD, Zimmer tourniquet, and TMAX Beach Chair
• Maintain accurate documentation using paper-based EMR
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout perioperative care
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided on-site

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated circulating experience in orthopedics/total joints, urogynecology, ENT, podiatry, colorectal, and general surgery
• Familiarity with Stryker equipment and systems
• Ability to float to additional ambulatory surgery center locations within the Kansas City area as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub technician experience in the OR setting
• C-arm / fluoroscopy experience
