Contract | Evening Shift | 4x10 Hours, Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM | Onsite | Level II Trauma Facility
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department ultrasound examinations with an approximate daily caseload of 15 studies per technologist
- Conduct general abdominal, OB, small parts, renal, and vascular ultrasound scans
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment and assist with ultrasound-guided procedures
- Utilize PACS for image archiving and retrieval, and document studies using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in an on-call rotation covering weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM) in the event of staff call-outs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required
- Active ARRT (S) or ARDMS national certification required
- Proficiency with PACS, portable equipment, and ultrasound-guided procedures
- Ability to scan general abdomen, OB, small parts, kidneys, and vascular structures
- Radiation badge required; must be provided by the staffing agency prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience charting in Epic electronic health records
- Prior experience in a trauma facility or high-volume imaging environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of ultrasound modalities across inpatient and emergency settings
