Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Float to other inpatient units as needed
- Fulfill weekend and holiday coverage requirements as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Familiarity with floating to various inpatient units in an acute care environment
