Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland (permanent license required)
• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
• Ability to complete required credentialing documentation prior to assignment start
• Must meet all contract quality assurance credentialing requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records
