Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry continuously
• Care for patients with diagnoses including cardiac arrhythmias, MI, ACS, heart failure, DKA, uncontrolled diabetes, post-heart catheterization, post-PPM, and post-ICD
• Administer and manage cardiac drips (no blood pressure titration required)
• Utilize unit systems including EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR for documentation and medication management
• Float to other units as required and fulfill weekend shift obligations (8 weekend shifts per contract)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Cardiac telemetry experience required; must be proficient in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Must be open to floating within or near the facility per assignment requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stepdown, IMC, or intermediate care unit experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered with relevant stepdown experience
