Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 36-hour guarantee on 3x12 schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a main OR setting covering general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, vascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotics cases
• Provide strong neuro surgical scrub support as a primary function of the role
• Participate in on-call requirements as discussed and scheduled by the unit manager
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities as required
• Complete all required pre-start and annual modules in a timely manner prior to assignment start
• Adhere to strict attendance and conduct policies including a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility requirement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of OR scrub technologist experience required
• Strong neuro surgical scrub experience is required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting system
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two or more years of OR scrub technologist experience preferred
• National certification through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred
• Experience in a short-term acute care or teaching hospital environment
