Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights – 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Rotate across both Medical-Surgical units as needed to support patient care demands
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Connecticut
- Prior experience in Telemetry nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Medical-Surgical setting, including surgical patient populations
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
