Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
- Rotate and provide coverage across multiple Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Connecticut
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Surgical nursing experience is strongly preferred due to cross-coverage on Medical-Surgical units
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
