Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions in a mixed-acuity Progressive Care / Stepdown environment
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and Pyxis / Accudose / Omnicell for medication management
- Communicate effectively using SBAR methodology with interdisciplinary care teams
- Float within the broader health system organization as needed
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must be able to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting, prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Progressive Care, Stepdown, or PCU experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and common medication dispensing systems (Pyxis, Accudose, Omnicell)
