Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a Mother Baby unit setting
- Perform IV starts and manage IV therapy as part of routine patient care
- Monitor and assess patient status, documenting findings accurately in the electronic health record
- May float to units of similar patient acuity as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience
- Active BLS certification
- IV certification and demonstrated IV start skills
- Labor and delivery (L&D) experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission; must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
