Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients ranging from infants through young adults up to age 25 in an intensive care setting
• Perform epilepsy monitoring and deliver specialized care requiring advanced clinical assessment skills
• Administer inotropes and interpret EKG/ECG rhythms as part of critical care management
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with required passing scores
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as scheduled
• Accurately document and submit hours worked using the designated timekeeping platform

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in PICU or the specialty being applied for prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and inotrope administration
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with epilepsy monitoring in a pediatric critical care environment
