Registered Nurse – ICU / Med-Surg Telemetry

Contract (13–18 week options available) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit following established clinical protocols and standards
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility policies
• Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competencies as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months
• No open background or license hits; background review is conducted by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration safety assessments
