Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric setting, including NICU Level IV and/or Pediatric ICU environments
• Deliver patient care across assigned shifts including day shifts, rotating holidays, and every other weekend
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for clinical documentation and charting
• Float within scope of practice to meet unit needs based on experience level
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required and must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NICU Level IV experience required; Pediatric ICU experience may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Background in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
