Contract | Mid Shift | 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
• Manage a patient population that includes memory care, dementia, and orthopedic residents
• Utilize electronic medical records system (PCC) for accurate and timely documentation
• Operate and assist with facility lift equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with nursing team maintaining a ratio of 2 nurses during day/evening shifts and 1 nurse during night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the state of South Dakota or compact state equivalent
• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Proficiency or ability to learn PCC electronic medical records system
• Ability to complete facility-specific orientation including lift training (approximately 2–4 hours)
• Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience caring for patients with dementia or memory care needs
• Familiarity with orthopedic patient care in a long-term care setting
• Experience working in a smaller, community-based facility environment
