Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, pre-op, post-op, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries and couplet care
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and cooling/warming blankets
• Perform circulating, scrubbing, and transition nursery duties as assigned
• Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set and unit need; staffing ratio of 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and transition nursery care
