Radiology Technologist – Acute Care

Contract | Full-Time (0.9 FTE) | Variable Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers, including portable, trauma, and fluoroscopic procedures
- Perform fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers, including US-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis
- Perform C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as requested by surgeons and assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements
- Provide patient education regarding preparation and post-care for radiology procedures
- Complete all required documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Educate radiography students, new hires, and radiology technologists on relevant diagnostic and operative guidance exams
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
- Active Montana Radiology Technologist licensure
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification – R.T.(R)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of radiology experience, including clinical internship experience
- Demonstrated competency in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopic/C-arm in the OR, trauma, and portable radiography within 6 months, including services to NICU, CCU, and ED
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in acute care or high-acuity hospital settings
- Familiarity with DNV program requirements and hospital quality indicator monitoring
