Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1900) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit managing common diagnoses and procedures including labor, induction of labor, Cesarean section delivery, External Cephalic Version, fetal demise, and intrauterine fetal death
• Perform and monitor specialized procedures including epidural management, Magnesium Sulfate administration, Pitocin titration, and insulin drips
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Document patient care using Cerner (transitioning to Epic)
• Float to related areas including Antenatal, High Risk, OB Triage, and Postpartum as needed based on acuity
• Provide timely shift handoff to charge or oncoming nurse, communicating outstanding tasks and relevant clinical information not captured in the EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or a valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty — no exceptions
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and assigned holidays
• Willingness and ability to float to Antenatal, High Risk, OB Triage, and Postpartum units within acuity
• Current certifications as required for the specialty (must provide list of certifications with expiration dates at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR; familiarity with Epic is a plus
• Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients and complex L&D procedures
