Interventional Radiology Technologist

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform interventional radiology procedures utilizing proper techniques and safe administration of contrast media
- Operate equipment and administer medications within licensed scope, including venipuncture
- Coordinate patient flow and support overall IR department operations
- Maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition through professional judgment and routine oversight
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities including weeknight and weekend coverage on a rotating schedule
- Float to perform IR procedures in the OR suite as departmental needs require
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution
- ARRT RT(R) registry certification
- Valid Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radiologic License — must be in hand at time of submission (Ohio or Compact)
- CPR certification
- Minimum 3 years of progressive Radiologic Technology experience
- Pediatric experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of Interventional Radiology experience, with pediatric focus preferred
- ACLS certification
- ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI) registry
- Proficiency with Radiology Information Systems, image storage, and advanced IR computer applications
