Travel CT / Radiology Technologist

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered, while continually monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status
- Prepare equipment and supplies, implement safety standards, and perform appropriate quality control procedures; troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures in both CT and Radiology (X-ray) departments, including floating between departments as required
- Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, take corrective action including repositioning and repeating procedures as needed
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active Florida CT / Radiology Technologist license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Completion of a CT Technology certificate program
- Prior travel assignment experience in a clinical setting
