Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Holidays Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns during 12-hour night shifts
- Administer and monitor magnesium drips and perform telemetry monitoring as required
- Participate in every other weekend rotation and fulfill holiday coverage requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in a postpartum setting
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum / mother-baby nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Candidates must have a minimum 6-month separation period if previously employed at this facility in any capacity (permanent, per diem, or travel)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience administering and monitoring magnesium drips
- Telemetry experience in a postpartum or related clinical setting
