Key Responsibilities

• Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographs of body regions for diagnostic purposes as ordered by a licensed medical provider
• Evaluate radiographs to acquire appropriate diagnostic information using independent judgment to optimize each examination performed
• Communicate effectively with patients and an interdisciplinary healthcare team throughout the imaging process
• Follow established departmental procedures and work efficiently within the diagnostic imaging department
• Demonstrate the ability to navigate and respond appropriately to emergent situations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology
• Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists
• Demonstrated evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a diagnostic imaging or hospital-based radiology setting
• Familiarity with a variety of radiographic examinations across multiple body regions
