Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Block Schedule (8-hour shifts) | Every other weekend required | Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and provide direct patient care for a long-term care population including dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation patients
• Administer medications and carry out clinical skills including IV therapy, catheterization, and ostomy care
• Fulfill charge nurse duties and maintain accurate documentation and charting using facility EMR (ECS)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapy, social work, dietary, and administration
• Float to other units as needed and adhere to facility scheduling and attendance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working with elderly patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Proficiency with IV therapy and related clinical skills
• Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend and holiday availability requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a nursing home or hospital-attached long-term care environment
• Familiarity with ECS electronic medical records system
• Experience with rehabilitation and dementia patient populations
