Contract | Nights | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Rotating Start Times Between 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM | No Weekend Requirement | No On-Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical procedures
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, and hemodynamic stability in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Deliver specialized care for Total Joint replacement patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
• Float to other units as needed on an occasional basis

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission; temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Demonstrated experience with Total Joint patients (hard stop requirement)
• Two supervisor-level references from within the past year of employment required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers will be considered
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment
